It was a great joy in the middle of September to welcome our two new pastoral assistants, Will Lyon Tupman and Michael Dixon to the parish.
They will spend a year with us as they discern a vocation to ordination, and will take a full part in the life of the parish. They have been kept busy both with the daily round of services in church but also in the community.
We are particularly pleased this year to be collaborating as a parish with our friends at West Croydon Baptist Church and the work of their Refugee Day Centre, and it is good that they will also gain experience of chaplaincy in an educational context at Croydon College and in a hospital environment at Croydon University Hospital.
Please remember Will and Michael in your prayers and for more vocations to the sacred priesthood.
