Who's who

The Revd Canon Tim Pike CMP
Father Tim was inducted as the Vicar of St Michael's in September 2016.
Before ordination he studied Russian at Durham and in Moscow. He trained for the priesthood at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield and has served in parishes in the North East of England and in London.
Fr Tim is a Trustee of Alton Abbey, and also the Anglican and Eastern Churches Association.
He is also Warden of the Company of Mission Priests.

He was appointed Honorary Canon of Southwark in August 2020.

Fr Graham Hains
Fr Graham is Assistant Curate at St Michael's and joined us in June 2024, having spent two years training at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield.​

Fr Antonio Joseph
Fr Antonio is Assistant Curate at St Michael's and joined us in June 2025, having spent three years training at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield.
​
Before ordination he was a Foreign Diplomat for the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, based at their High Commission in London, where he held responsibility for Political, Diaspora, & Consular affairs.

Fr Antonio is a trustee of the Mothers' Union, London Diocese, and a member of the Antigua and Barbuda Nationals Association UK Church Committee.

Pastoral Assistants
​
Each year the Parish takes on one or two Pastoral Assistants.
From September 2025 our Pastoral Assistant is Ewan Davies. ​
Ewan Davies was born and raised in Swansea, and studied History at Swansea University, before undertaking postgraduate studies in Religion and Theology at Cardiff University.

Pastoral Assistants play a full part in the liturgical life of the parish, and assist with Christian chaplaincies at Croydon University Hospital. They assist the clergy with parish visiting and carrying Holy Communion to the housebound,.
​
Pastoral Assistants are usually exploring a vocation to the Sacred Priesthood.
