AT MICHAEL'S, CROYDON
We look forward to welcoming you to St Michael's Croydon in Holy Week and at Easter.
Our Holy Week liturgies are celebrated with full Catholic ceremonial and there will be beautiful music too.
Our Holy Week preacher will be Fr Oswin Gartside CR, the Superior of the Community of the Resurrection, Mirfield.
Fr Oswin and the Parish Clergy will be glad to hear confessions during Holy Week. There are advertised times or you can make an appointment with one of the priests.

Palm Sunday
Masses with Blessing of Palms at 9am (Said) & 11am (Solemn Sung)
Devotional Performance of Stainer's Crucifixion at 4pm
Monday 3rd April
Confessions between 11am and 12 noon (Fr Oswin CR)
Mass and short homily at 12.30pm
Tuesday 4th April
Chrism Mass at St Andrew's Holborn at 11am
The Mass will be celebrated by Jonathan, our Bishop

Wednesday 5th April
Confessions between 11am and 11.45am (Fr Tim)
Stations of the Cross at 11.45am
Mass and short homily at 12.30pm
The Sacred Triduum
Maundy Thursday, 6th April
Mass of the Lord's Supper, Transfer of the Holy Eucharist and Vigil at the Altar of Repose
The Mass begins at 8pm and includes the washing of feet.
After Mass the stripping of the altars takes place and the vigil lasts until Midnight.
Worshippers are free to come and go as they wish during the watch.
Good Friday, 7th April

Liturgy of the Passion and Death of the Lord at 1.30pm
Holy Saturday, 8th April
Office of Readings & Morning Prayer at 9.30am
Easter Vigil at 8.30pm

Beyond Holy Week, St Michael's is a Daily Mass parish.
Here are the regular Mass times:

Monday - Friday at 12.30pm
(on Bank Holidays Mass is at 11.00am)
Saturdays at 11.00am
The Church is open from around 11am every weekday for personal prayer.
Solemn Evensong & Benediction is usually celebrated on the first and third Sunday of the month at 3.30pm (except in August).
